In 1951
In accordance with Resolution No. 178 of the Council of Ministers of the Mongolian People's Republic, the State Teachers' Institute was established. This institute opened a mathematics and physics program, admitted students, and began training qualified professionals internally.
In 1952
As per Order No. 335 issued by the Ministry of Education, during the academic year 1951-1952, the evening course at the Institute of Teachers produced the following graduates: 10 physics teachers, 13 geography teachers, and 10 science and chemistry teachers.
In 1957
According to Order No. 225 of the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of Mongolia, the following academic units were established: Faculty of Physics-Mathematics, History-Geography, Natural Sciences and Departments of Physics, Chemistry, Natural Science and Geography.
In 1960
A total of 51 history-geography teachers, 32 physics-mathematics teachers, and 16 chemistry-biology teachers were trained.
In 1961
Teacher training for the first double majors began, combining Chemistry-Nature and Nature-Geography teaching professions.
In 1975
A laboratory bureau was established, and L. Damba was appointed as the head of the physics department.
In 1987
For the first time, informatics and computing courses were included in the curriculum.
In 1993
The Physics-Mathematics-Informatics Training Center and the Geography-Tourism Department were opened.
In 1995
A computer laboratory (A218, B215) was established.
In 1996
The Faculty of Natural Sciences, the Faculty of Mathematics, and the Faculty of Physics were established.
In 1997
A computer laboratory (A218, B215) was established.
In 2000
The Faculty of Mathematics was restructured into the Faculty of Computer and Information Technology, and the Faculty of Mathematics and Statistics.
In 2001
School of Mathematics and Statistics, School of Physical Technology, School of Natural Sciences, School of Computer Information Technology were established.
In 2007
The Department of Physical Didactics was established.
In 2011
The Department of Biology has been restructured and is now known as the Department of Botany, General Biology, Zoology, and Ecology.
In 2012
The bachelor's degree program in Informatics-Teacher Education is accredited by the National Council for Educational Accreditation.
In 2014
It became a constituent school of Mathematics and Natural Sciences.
In 2015
Teachers who published articles in prestigious international peer-reviewed journals took the first place and were awarded the prize named after the president of MNUE.
